What is a Steam Tea Latte?

Unlike the coffee guys who throw a tea bag into a hot cup of milk and cal it a latte(?!), we take our freshly brewed tea and steam it dairy or soy and with wonderful flavors to create steamed fresh tea lattes that you’ll never forget. Move over espresso, there is a new game in town!!!

Chai means tea in many languages. In India, the generic word for tea is chai. The word is derived from the Chinese word tea, cha, which the British turned into tay, which then evolved into tea. Chai is usually brewed very strong with lots of sugar and milk and often concentrated. Traditional Indian Chai combines very black tea that is boiled in milk and flavored with local spices such as sweet cinnamon and sharp clove.

Black tea is uniquely fermented and oxidized which leads to a cavalcade of enjoyable flavors and aromas.

The choice of tea connoisseurs throughout the world, oolong is known far and wide for its range of distinctive flavors and fragrances. Most important, this partially oxidized variety offers the best qualities of both black and green tea, in terms of both taste and health. One of the special aspects of oolong is that one serving can (and should) be steeped many times over. Because over the course of multiple infusions, oolongs true character and richness is revealed.
